Forum for Human Rights and Public Health Nepal (Friendship Nepal)

Constitution: 2063 (2008)

Background

It is our prime responsibility to conserve the basic rights of the human beings under the codes of the United Nation's declaration 1948. It must be guaranteed to be self consciousness in every dimension of life and life to live. It is endeavor to vital balance of environmental degradation and save the people's health and to build up the self sustained society. This Friendship Nepal's constitution is constituted and registered under the social organization act 2034 in 2008.

Chapter One

Primarily

1.     Name of the Organization :

Name of this organization is in Nepali 'Manab Adhikar tatha Jana Swastha Manch' and in English is 'Forum for Human Rights and Public Health Nepal' and in short Friendship-Nepal.

a)     Address of the Organization : Address of the organization is Bhaktapur District and Katunje Village Development Committee and Ward No. 1. Address might be change after taking authority from District Administration Office accordingly.

b)    Working Area of Organization : Working area of the Forum for Human Rights and Public Health Nepal will be whole Nepal after authorization of Local Development Authorities.

c)     Beginning : This constitution will be effective after registration.

d)    Existence of the Organization : This organization will be continuous hierarchy, organized, self-governed, none profitable, none political and none governmental. This organization won't be taken any fee as consultancy or similar charges, organization will be dedicated to full fill its objectives.

2.     Definition :

No duel meaning without its reference and context.

a)     "Constitution" meant constitution of the Forum for Human Rights and Public Health Nepal.

b)    "Organization" meant the Forum for Human Rights and Public Health Nepal.

c)     "Committee" meant constituted working committee of this organization according to the section of 13 of this organization.

d)    "Assembly" meant constituted general assembly or special assembly according to formulated by the organization's constitution.

e)     "Members" meant members of this organization.

f)      "Section and sub-section" meant section and sub-section of this organization.

g)     "Local Officer" meant District Administration Officer according to this constitution.

h)    "Directive or accordance to directive" meant directive or according to functioning by this constitution.

i)       "Local Authorities" meant Village Development Committee, Metropolitan, sub-metropolitan, Municipality, and District Development Committee is recognized.

3.     Organizational Sign : Logo and the stamp of this organization will be differentiate than other organization. Stamp and logo will be according to the chapter one. Logo and the stamp will be amended, if matched with other organization.

Chapter 2

Objective

4.     Objectives of the Organization : Objectives of the organization will be as follows.

a)     This organization will be profitless and social welfare oriented.

b)    This organization will be cooperated organizational development of democracy, good governance and legitimacy in democracy.

c)     Human right, public health, and environmental programme will be coordinated and managed for its protection.

d)     To keep self sustained the society and dignified, organization will coordinate the alternative income generation sources, agriculture and cooperatives prgrammes.

e)     Adult education, child education, and health and nutrition prgramme will be conducted for under privileged groups, specially.

f)      Women right, child right and public health and environmental programme will be conducted.

g)     To protect the public health from communicable diseases organization will be conducted campaign, orientation and suitable programme on the effected location.

h)    Child right and human right training, workshop and seminar will conducted in the marginalize groups.

5.     Works to fulfill the objectives of the organization :

Following works will be done to fulfill the objectives of the organization.

a)     Objectives will be implemented after the authorization of government of Nepal and its existing act.

b)    Building will be constructed or leased and stationary, computer, telephone and faxes are managed. It can buy or hire the vehicles.

c)     Official staffs will be recruited and sub section for them will be formulated to functioning the office regularly.

d)    Various Committee and subcommittee will be created under the constitution of this organization.

e)     Sub sections, financial sections and programme directives will be developed to effective implementation of prgramme under the constitution.

Chapter 3

Membership

6.     Categorization of Membership :

This organization has four (4) category of membership accordingly.

a)     Ordinary Member : Any of the eligible citizens of the nation can obtain the membership of this organization under the section of 7 with fulfilling the requirement indicated by constitution.

b)    Founder Member: Members since establish are founder members. Those have equal right to voting in the election. They won't have needed to pay annual membership renewal fees.

c)     Life Long Member: Special donor or contributor will be lifelong members of the organization.

d)    Honorary Member: National or international prestigious social worker and well-known people can be honorary member of the organization. Honorary member can't be eligible for voting right.

7.     Eligibilities to receive the membership:

To be a member of the organization will fulfill the criteria of following.

a)     It is to be a Nepali National.

b)    21 years completed.

c)     Well mental health position.

d)    Not have proven the bankrupt or involve in malpractice.

e)     Not have proven the corrupted or criminal deeds.

8.     Position not to hold the memberships occupying.

Any or following condition is not to be a memberships.

a)     No Nepali citizen.

b)    Under age of 21.

c)     Lunatic or mentally sick people.

d)    Have proven the bankrupt or involve in malpractice.

e)     Have proven the corrupted or criminal deeds by the law.

f)      Personal interest within the organization.
